White is the New White Pt 6 (Final WIP)

Many Months ago I started with the 1/72 White Glint with VOV set and toda,y I finally finished, These are Mobile phone pics, quality is not the best but it might take a few weeks before I can shoot the final gallery for the Glint so, I decided to take a few quick photos and upload many other pics that were supposed to be for anther Work in progress post.

I hope you like the final glint, it was a first in many ways for me, and even if it took way longer than expected, I enjoyed every second of it.

White is the new white pt4. Masking Mayhem OVER!!!

I finally finished the details and main paint for the kit, there are still minor paint to do, some touch ups and little details but after a masking mayhem the paint is over.

The V.O.V. set needs allot of masking and paint, most of it comes in pearl white, so the piping, the main thruster, most of the details need paint, but at the end I´m happy with the result. 

I decided to paint the shoulder weapons gray with some details in Tamiya´s metallic gray. 

I like how they turned out, the decals and the scratches will make them look even better.

So, the painting is finally over, as I write this i'm waiting for the clear gloss coat to dry, after that Ill start the decals, then the dull coat, then the washes, panel lines, and pastels and a final mat coat to protect everything else. 

There's still allot left to do, please wish me luck with the rest.

White is the new white pt3 (Slowly but steady)

The progress is finally showing and boy, I´m in love again with this hobby.

I dont know what to say that you cant see on the pictures, I added allot of betails to this awesome kit, evcn some cables and I've been loving every second of this custom build.

the VOB set requitres tons of masking and painting, so the progress there is on hold for the moment, I have been concentrating on finishing the extra details on the White Glint.

and here is where we are right now, almost at the middle of the build; i still have to finish the customization and do the main paint on the arms and thrusters, then hand paint the little details all over the kit, panel lines, clear coat, waterslides, flat coat, weathering and top flat coat, so, it's safe to say that there's still allot of work to be done.

But so far, I´m loving how this kit is turning out, I hope you guys like it.

White is the new white pt2

Slowly but steady the white glint is taking shape:

As you can see I've been adding pla-plate details to the model, I'm also waiting for some detailing parts and decals.

I decided to change the hands for a more aggressive looking hands

I already painted all the black parts, in a few of them some details will be painted.

I also want to add a one or two millimeters to the ankles, not sure how I´m gonna do it.

So far I´ve been enjoying this build allot, I was inspired to do this kind of details by this white glint by DC23, and I'm paying some kind of tribute to that amazing work by borrowing some ideas from it, i hope at the end, my white glint will look half as good as that one.
